Check out my Apothecia Wolf Lichen (Letharia columbiana) The fluorescent green lichen seen on trees at upper elevations. The apothecia are the large brown disk like structures upon which spores are produced. The small dots are soridea which produce asexual propagules...dust drops of lichen that contain both alga and fungus...enough to create a complete new plant. Pen and ink with watercolor.
